Bio:
My name is Brandan Baki (n. bake-eye). I have recently graduated with my BA in Film and Video from Columbia College in Chicago. I've been working the freelance circuit for music videos, narrative film, and corporate projects. I've gained experience in many departments in the film industry working as a grip, assistant director, editor, and motion graphics specialist. My real passion lies in screenwriting. I aim to write primarily for the narrative film world. I have currently a feature length comedy and thriller under my belt.
I grew up in Elyria, Ohio and have since returned to the old stomping grounds in my post-collegiate career. Having completed my second feature length narrative script, I will be shopping it around with high hopes and aspirations. I am currently work shopping some new ideas for future scripts. In addition to screenwriting, I am putting together several After Effects spec spots to showcase my work.
Outside of working towards a career in film, I coach youth league soccer in Elyria, Ohio. I also greatly enjoy the time I spend on my longboard, fishing and am in the midst of writing a novel about my fictional adventures.
