Hey all, my name is Brandan Baki. I am a filmmaker based out of Cleveland, Ohio. I have my hands in many aspects of the film world, but I mainly work with pre and post-production. I recently finished up my BA at Columbia College Chicago in film and video and I'm looking forward to whatever it is that life throws at me next.
I hope you all enjoy my site and continue to come back and check the updates. This site should offer everything you may need when surfing the net so feel free to make it your home page. It is all fairly new and in the upcoming weeks I plan to post more video and pictures, blogs, more writing samples and upcoming projects. It will also be an oasis for you all to empty your brains and a nice place for you to keep up on what I am doing. I wouldn't want you to worry. So, take care, come back soon and happy surfing!

The site has been up for a while but this is the "big release". I'm going to use this Home page for updates and to let you know of anything new going on. Basically, you don't have to search through the whole site to find something new. When changes occur, I will notify you here and provide a link. This way I'm not wasting your precious time and you don't get mad at me!
As far as the home page goes, I have changed up the links. Check them all out, but I have just recently added two very important sites. One is "Elyria Writers" which is a place for writers in Elyria (and everywhere else) to post any and all writing. It can be critiqued or just enjoyed. The other site is the new Turkey Bowl Site! If you are from Elyria, then you should be excited. If not, check out the site and perhaps you will be inspired. But check out everything to the right!
Other than that, check out the whole site. Things are moving and I'm still getting used to it all. Please send me any and all comments. Also, this site does work best with FireFox, which you can download for free here. I have found problems with Explorer and someone needs to tell me how well it works with Safari because I have not tried that yet.

My bio has been tweaked to more accurately speak of me. If there is something missing or you are have any questions feel free to ask.

There are some new photos in the gallery. But keep your eyes peeled because I am soon going to make a gallery page that will be broken up into separate albums. You will be able to navigate through better and see more pictures. I will be puting up some Christmas pictures soon too. There will be an update on the home page as soon as all that is up. It will be up shortly, I promise.

This section should be changing often. I have changed and added some short films that I have written. Some have been filmed and some are just on paper. I am also working on two features. I posted the loglines of both of the scripts. The loglines are sort of temporary but feel free to ask any questions or make any suggestions about any of my writing.

This is going to be updated the most of everything. I have been posting here and there on my blog already. It is located on blogspot instead of on my own website. It is much easier to manage it that way and post. I am going to set a goal to blog once a week. I plan to blog every Sunday (if not more). So that is your incentive to come back and check out the site. Sunday night, you'll have nothing to do but procrastinate anything you should be doing. Check out my site and you know there will be something new. I will try to keep everything fresh but the blog will change fast and often. I blog about anything. Please leave comments about my blogs or about anything you want me to talk about. I want feedback so I know I'm not just talking to myself.

The video is mainly for samples of work I have done. Right now I have the "Busted Picture Box" which is a one minute film and Ericson's music video 'Caught Inside (A Falling Out)' which are both great samples. I am still mauling through my work to see what more I want to post. I am working on getting a lower quality for both of those videos that are already up so that they load quicker. I am planning on posting more videos very soon including my motion graphics reel and my television commercial editing reel. If you know of anything that I have done that you may be interested in seeing, just ask and I can post it or atleast feature it for a little while.

What I have posted is my specific professional resume. I have more work that I have done that just wouldn't fit on my resume. If you have any questions, please ask. I have done work in all aspects of film so I can alter my resume to fit many angles of work. This resume is just one form of what I have and a specific resume directed at different jobs can be made upon request.

My contact has slightly changed. Please e-mail me with any questions, comments or job prospects. I am always keeping my ears open just in case something great comes along. As far as work, please contact me anytime about anything. As far as anything else, I would also love to hear from you. As I have said a a million times, this is all so new to me. My site is just getting off the ground and there will be many changes to come. Tell me what you like and what you hate. You won't hurt my feelings.
